Credit Card Authorization window
Purpose
Use this window to enter credit card information for payment authorization through OpenEdge, Vantiv Integrated Payments, or TSYS Merchant Solutions when you post payments for point of sale transactions.
To access this window
This window automatically displays when you are entering payments for point of sale transactions on the Enter Payments window and you select a credit card payment method that requires authorization.

Item descriptions
Fields and boxes
| Item | Description |

| Swipe Card or Enter Card | Place your cursor in this box and either swipe a credit card or enter the credit card number. |
| Card On File | Displays any credit cards this customer has on file. |
| Include Expired Cards & Inactive Rental/Lesson | Select this check box to also include expired credit cards and inactive rentals and lessons in the Card On File box. |
| Amount | Displays the amount that will be charged to the credit card as it was entered in the Pymt Amount box on the Enter Payments window. |
| Card # | Displays the credit card number of the card you swiped, entered, or selected. |
| Expires | Displays the expiration date of the credit card you swiped or selected. If you entered a credit card number in the Swipe Card or Enter Card box, enter the expiration date here in MM/YY format (such as 01/15 for January 2015). |
| Bill Name | The name of the customer who is making the payment. |
Buttons
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Select Card on File | Adds the information of the selected card on file to the Amount, Card#, and Expires boxes. |
| Card Present | Indicates that you have a card in hand for this credit card payment. |
| Card Not Present | Indicates that you do not have a physical credit card when you enter the payment information. For example, if you're taking a payment over the phone. This option is automatically selected if you manually enter a credit card number in the Swipe Card or Enter Card box. |
| Recurring | Indicates that this is a recurrent payment using this credit card information. |
| Authorize | Sends the information to OpenEdge, Vantiv Integrated Payments, or TSYS Merchant Solutions for authorization. |
| Cancel | Returns to the previous window. |
